Cry it out for a day or two if you need to. Indulge in some ice cream and make a nice dinner of comfort foods. Once you're done with that, throw on your cutest outfit, go on a mini-shopping spree, and have a girl's night :]

I think it really depends on the severity for me. I mean if I actually fall for a guy....IE: Lately...It really takes time, I normally write or sing, or since I am a music major I'll play my heart out.
If it's something that's not quite as deep as what's been going on between me and my friend Aaron right now, then I normally just rant a bit and I'm better.

it was pretty severe. to make a long story short, we met at a gig his band played back in february and we really hit it off. he was just always around my general area for the rest of the night. i didn't see him again until may when his band played their last show. it was two days before my birthday so i was celebrating with a friend. after his band played, J hung out with me and my friend for the rest of the night, flirting with me and toasting to my birthday and buying me drinks and dancing and just generally talking. we're friends on facebook and we occasionally talk there, i've run into him a couple times at the restaurant he works at and he's always flirting with me (i haven't noticed that he's one of those guys who flirts with all girls). he gives me long, tight hugs and calls me "dear" and "love" and just gives off all the signs that he's interested. he even asks when i'm coming up to the restaurant to see him.
found out wednesday that he's dating a 19-year-old girl who has a 1-year-old child. i have no idea what's going on but i'm pretty shattered. i haven't been able to stop thinking about him since february.

I usually make an "I hate boys" playlist and listen that that...a lot. I use music to get away from everything around me and it always seems to help...I'll make a thread to find some songs. I know some people prefer songs that are so sad and make them want to cry, but I'm the exact opposite, I like some "I hate you" kind of music.
