Everyone's books just seem to interesting right now. I'm have to read A Tale of Two Cities right now. It's not too bad I just can't seem to fully get into it. I was in the middle of reading Catch 22 when I was assigned this book. Maybe that's why I'm so mad at it right now. After done with all this I'm fully diving into anything George Orwell.

Ugh Leslie I HATED HATED HATED Tale of Two Cities. I spent the entire unit wanting to find a time machine so I could go back in time and punch Dickens.
I'm rereading The Philosopher's Apprentice because Cyrano de Bergerac got boring. I need to get more books AGAIN, I just finished a stack of new books last weekend.

I had the same feeling the other day. I mean in concept the story's not bad but the way it's written makes me feel like I'm dragging my feet through a foot of mud. I feel like I read and read and don't get any farther.

So, after finally finishing a Tale of Two Cities I took up Catch-22 again. THEN my english teacher decided to make us read an autobiography. So naturally I choose my favorite author: Now I'm reading: I have to finish Catch-22 at some point.

Oh look I'm posting in here again.
I finished All Quiet on the Western Front and Valley of the Dolls at the same time. (I especially recommend AQotWF even if you don't like war novels. I kind of don't but I really liked this one.) I started reading The Unbearable Lightness of Being on Monday. After that I'm reading Lolita and then after that I'm reading The Kite Runner because someone told me it was really good today.

Sierra, Valley of the Dolls is a quick read. I finished it in a week span but only because I got busy and also had to read another book at the same time. There are points where I just couldn't put it down!
I'm trying to find out where I can get the movie. My library might have it.

I read that one a while ago and only found out about the movie about a week ago! It was really good and it felt really sentimental and thoughtful. When I watched the trailer for the movie I felt they took that out of it. Then again, I haven't seen the entire movie.
I checked out Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and The Time Traveler's Wife. I'm not too excited about the former because I'm not big on science fiction of any degree but I really want to give it a try before I can completely say I don't like it.

Just finished Almost Home by Damien Echols. It was great writing but I enjoyed his point of view. Now I'm on to Servant of the Bones by Anne Rice.
