Anyone play The Sims? This is my favorite video game and it's the only game I play! I just currently got the hang of building houses.

Wow, I'm such a Sims addict! Have been since the day I got The Sims 1. I remember telling my mom that this would be my favourite game forever and she just laughed and said "But you've only been playing for 20 minutes!" Ha! In your face, mom! Are you playing Sims 3 now or are you still on Sims 2 like so many people? I switched to 3 the day it came out and had been excited about it for months. Looking back, I almost wish I had stayed with 2 a little longer because there are so many things I miss, especially the pets and the apartments. The add-ons we got for 3 so far don't do all that much for me, to be honest, because I'm still missing so many things that would make the game more real. I mean, I'm sure my Sims can live without going to France on holiday (in fact, most of them do because I'm bored with the holiday part) but they would probably enjoy having seasons back... I know how to build houses but get bored of it too quickly. I'm more into decorating than building. Though I feel like eventually it will become necessary for me to build again because the houses in the new neighbourhood are just horrible. There are no relatively cheap homes for young families. All the cheap ones only have one bedroom. Poop.

I got the Sims 3 like maybe a day after it came out. Yeah I miss things about sims 2, too. Like I had Nightlife and I thought the whole going on dates and being able to actually go into the restaurant and order food was great. Although I never could get my sim to turn into a vampire haha. But there are things I like about the sims 3 and sims 2 that I think should be combined. I never could figure out how to do the custom content for sims 2 and on sims 3 I get it. But it's cause a horrible glitch in my game with babies.

Oh, I made a vampire a couple times but I always prefer my Sims' lives to be more realistic so I didn't do that a lot. How sad must my life be that it amuses me to watch my Sims go through their daily routine? Haha
Custom content? You mean changing the colours and all? Because I never did that with Sims 2, either. I basically knew that you had to do it with separate programs outside of the game but it was just too much hassle. What glitch do you mean?

Like I download some Sims from the exchange on the sims 3 website. and like some of the adult clothes went into the baby/toddler/child clothing and it would put them in it and make them look like monters. They have like claws and everything. Really freaked me out when I first saw it. >.> and I can't find the file of the shirt that's doing it to delete it.

Wow, that sounds crappy. Have you tried just deactivating all clothes and then turning them back on one by one to see what's causing it?

Love them sims, its the only computer game I play really. It doesn't run very well on my laptop tho because they are old and rubbish. But when I'm feeling patient I can play.

I don't know how to do that. Haha. Every time I do go and try to look through it the pop up starter says its not responding, but everything almost does that on my laptop and it pisses me off so bad!! So I guess I'll just have to live with it.

Hmm...when you have the starter screen (with all the community news and stuff) and go to your downloads, you should be able to check or uncheck a little box next to each download which en- or disables it. Does that freeze it, too?

Yeah that's what causes it to freeze. and when I try to make it scroll down it doesn't stop going down. And I can't find what I'm looking for.

i love the sims so much. i have 2 right now with night life, open for business and university. it's a wonder gav's pc even runs.
i just can't get the hang of three, it's too life-like. it kind of freaks me out, and there are so many options and so much going on. overwhelming.

When Late Night comes out, I'm going to attempt to make a SG music video with it. Since it'll come with drums and a keyboard. Anddd if I can find a hairstyle that looks like Cole's.....
It'll be super lame BUT it's the Sims so whatever XD
