I'd have to say DU. The first AFI songs I heard were from DU and it's more of a nostalgia factor for me. It came at a time in my life where things weren't so good and all I had was hope. Hope feels good and at that point hope was the only thing that made me happy.

my fave album is Sing The Sorrow, then DU. i'm not a huge fan of Crash Love. i think i just expected more. then again, i was disappointed by pretty much every album that was released this year by my fave bands so maybe i've just been in a mood. xD

It was nothing like anything that I would have expected from them, but then it made perfect sense to me and I thought it was awesome! It was cool to hear them mix it up with some new sounds.

My fav is DU, for the same reason as LCisVL616, it was the first songs by AFI I heard and listening to those songs made some of the stuff going on in my life make sense.

Sing the Sorrow will always be special to me because it was my favourite and it completely blew my mind because I had never heard anything like it before.
But I have to say that Crash Love immediately went right up there with StS. It was...wow! I don't know what I expected from them but this was definitely more. It's amazing how they managed to hit my taste so deadon. I think Crash Love sounds more alive than they've sounded in years, like they had rediscovered their love for making music. I mean, DU was a fantastic album but in a way, it was almost a logical step from StS and nothing too surprising. And, sadly, parts of it also sounded to me like they were doing what they thought they had to do. If you take Miss Murder, for example, I love the song, I think it's an amazing live song and doesn't get enough credit. But at the same it seems like one of those songs that were mainly included as some sort of "eye catcher" which they may or may not love themselves. But with CL, I feel like not a single song is on there that they don't truly enjoyed writing and playing themselves.

I hope this isn't off topic, but it pure made me laugh. I can't decide if I love it or hate it.

I heard that mash up a while ago. It's great, although I'm surprised I like it because I hate Poker Face xD

AFI is my favourite band. I probably wouldn't even know that Scarlet Grey existed if they hadn't toured with AFI. I also found out about this message board on the DF.
