Yikes, Gavin!! That doesn't sound good!
And that is something I don't think I would ever do...I don't know. But I think it would be sweet to do it, just not something for me! Go for it though!!

I might (this is a MIGHT) get (a) microderdermal(s) for Christmas. (It's either that or a small tattoo.) I know I would but I don't know exactly what to be prepared for. I've seen videos but I don't think that's too much compared to what actually happens, you know?

That does help! Thanks! Especially when someone said something about putting pen dots and watching where they go and how they move when you're in various positions. Thanks Gavin!

As soon as I hopefully hear back from a couple places I applied to, that will decide whether I get my lip pierced or not! 2 of the places allow facial piercings, two of them don't...so we'll see

My bottom lip was angela jolie worthy for a couple days. I got a stud put in mine so I don't know the difference with healing with a ring or if there even is a difference. It looks nice!

from what i'm told, healing is easier with a ring because it's less constricting and easier to clean.
looks good, kelly!

So far there hasn't been any noticeable swelling, which I won't complain about one bit!! Still a little sore when I try to take a bite out of something like a burrito...so I've been sticking with just cutting it into pieces. I'm getting used to it though, and I love it!

My favorite part of when I had mine was how clean my mouth always felt because you're supposed to swish Listerine after every meal, drink, or smoke. :]

So...on the inside of my lip, right where the hole is for the ring, there's a white bump there. Does that mean it's infected at all? Should I just clean it after every meal and it will go away?

Should I just clean it after every meal and it will go away? if it hasn't by now, that bump should go away. they're common. i had one for ages on mine. it's not an infection, it's just....a thing. now, i don't know if you're SUPPOSED to pop it, but it did after a while, and it was fine. just keep it clean.
