Don't know how I'm just noticing this thread, but I have loads of input! The Morning Benders. I'm in love with this song, his voice, the instrumentation...everything. Check out their album Big Echo. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jgmgE-QDzALemuria. Check out their album Get Better. Favorite track is Pants. Sneaker Pimps album Becoming X. If you're okay with the sex in Blaqk Audio's tracks, you should be okay with this. It's a bit heavier, but still good. Pretty Girls Make Graves. All of their albums are excellent. Really great female indie band featuring a few of the males from The Blood Brothers. And while I'm at it, you should check out The Blood Brothers. Les Savy Fav. Adore them! The Dead Weather. Okay, I'll end it here for now. Off to listen to all the suggestions listed now!

British India are good. Discovered a band earlier this year called Papa vs Pretty and they hail from Sydney. I've seen them twice now and their debut album was released last week. It is AMAZING. www.papavspretty.com

have we ever talked about zola jesus on this board? we should. she's very pretty: she also makes nice gloomy earthy songs that you can sometimes shake it to: www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7CxyZ8dQ-0
