i wish i could find a non-douche way to wear floral print. find me floral print socks and i am so there. here's a question - does anyone know a good place to find catholic prayer bracelets for cheap? preferably not online if you please. they were really trendy a bit back and now i can't find them anywhere.

Flea markets or church supply stores- the ghetto flea market I went to a lot in undergrad always had them for dirt cheap.

At a swap meet! Here there's a swap meet where they sell them for around a buck or two. Or even a 99 cents store. I've seen them there too. Or an ethnic foods store. Seen them there as well.

Ross, Marshalls, JC Penny, Burlington, and Goodwill/thrift stores. It's all I can afford anyway... Ross and Marshalls are pretty great in that they have clothes they buy out from other brands. Good brands at not brand prices. Though, the clothes are pretty generic, I guess. JC Penny is just JC Penny. If you go on weekends they have crazy sales. Burlington has nice jackets, sweaters, etc. Goodwill is good for getting clothes that don't look so hot and turn them into something better. (Plus, if you eff it up it's cheap and not new so you can't get too hurt about it.) That's why I shop at those stores anyway. If I could afford other places I'd be all over Forever 21 and Charlotte Ruse.

I love J Crew but I can only shop there during the winter when they have colors other than pastel. I love GAP and H&M, and Target, and sometimes Zumiez. Hot Topic is hit or miss now, at least around here. Fancy stuff comes from BCBG or Max Studio, sometimes Macys or Nordstroms but they're also sort of hit or miss a lot of the times.

I hate walking into the Macy's around here. Whenever I walk in I have this feeling I'll have my own recreation of that scene in Pretty Woman. Ladies are always looking like "Can I help you?"

i've gotten some nice boots from Kohl's but mostly i shop at thrift stores or the JC Penney outlet. my really nice stuff (goth boots, corset, etc) are all things i've bought off friends. hopefully if/when i get this "grown up" job this summer i'll be able to splurge on some really good stuff (New Rocks, anyone?)
