How did you find about the band? Tell us your lovely story! I find out about them through AFI. I heard they were touring with them and figured I'd check them out. Went onto their MySpace and Mr. Sinister and Fancy Blood instantly grew on me. Got Black and Forget Me Was Me and immediately knew Scarlet Grey was for me. Now I try to share them with as many people as possible. Spreading the love. <3 It's a little boring haha, but that is how I found out and now I'm here. Share!

An AFI fan was a fan of them and kept saying how nice they were and how good they were, so I had a listen & soon discovered she was right!

My story is the same as yours, haha.
Found out they would be touring with AFI, checked them out and was hooked immediately. I also try to get my friends to take a listen to them, usually they already have in their mind that they won't like it, but I have gotten through to a few of them!

Well I actually just knew about Ben because Jade and Marissa would always tweet at them. Then I was looking at who was opening for AFI on rocketown's website. Then I was like OHHH Scarlet Grey.. BEN!? Haha. Then at the AFI show in Nashville they stole my heart. Meeting them did it. They were just so so nice.

Meeting them did it. They were just so so nice. This. Even though I only met Ben but I'm sure they all super. I went to see them with 2 friends who don't usually go for that kind of music and now they both listen to Fancy Blood! One of them I didn't think would enjoy it much but she didn't even move during the set and when I asked her why all she said was "I want to admire this band." haha. Now she says Fancy Blood doesn't leave her boombox.

Meeting them did it. They were just so so nice. I loved their music before I had met Ben, but after I met Ben my liking of SG grew immensely! So nice and just real.

i honestly don't remember. i think it was some YouTube chain from AFI stuff to a video with Nils to a video of Nils playing A Pirate's Song with SG.

I think I became a grey girl the moment they came onstage in Nashville. It was a very "WOAH" moment for me. They have this incredible energy when they play that is just amazing. I have friends that don't care for their music and I always tell them that it's only because they haven't seen them preform. I dare anyone not to enjoy themselves during a SG set. It's impossible <3

Like most, I found out of them through AFI. Or rather through AFI's fans. I kept reading about them on Twitter, Tumblr, etc. so I decided to listen to the samples on iTunes and was hooked.

i actually had heard of them several years ago when godsgirls.com started getting popular, and i read that that website was named after a scarlet grey song. i didn't really get a chance to check them out until recently though, when someone sent me a song. i'm really glad they did, because they're becoming one of my very favorites.

I came across their myspace a few years ago when I was bored one night. I think it was just before black was released. I talked to them online a bit and fell compleatly in love with their music. When they came over to england to make the video and announced they were gunna play a show in London I pretty much cried with happyness.
